The buzz is next patch = mounts at level 30, and next patch drops 6/24. Anyone hear otherwise?

Mon, June 23, 2008 - 9:54 PMIt's kind of a pisser-offer, actually. You bust your hump trying to get to 40, along w/getting the gold together... and some guy comes along and they just basically hand them a mount.
It's kind of like when I took my Warlock to lvl 40 - I had to do a freakin' quest to get my steed. My husband brought his up after I did & the trainer just gave it to him.

But I reckon they have done some stats, and there may be a lot of toon that give up around the 40 mark. -

Tue, June 24, 2008 - 2:19 AMWelcome to warcarft. I worked for months to get S1 daggers only that have them handed out later with a simple honor grind. Same thing with all the other gear.
That's the way it goes.
I've spent teh last two week struggleing in BG's with complete nub earning welfare points for their S2 upgrades, which will make all my S3 less effective cause everyone will have it. fortunatly I banked a lot of Arena Points and Hopfully will be able to get a good rating by tomarrow.

:D My toons don't exactly 'give up' when they hit lvl 40... They just sort of stall.

Fri, June 27, 2008 - 1:36 PMIm actually excited for the L30 mounts. Ive experienced level 30-40 multiple times and frankly, running around is quite mundane for me now. Actually, I wish they would make a mount at level 5, like a donkey or something that could at least trot faster than walking. -
